GURUKULAM INSTITUTIONS (TW)

               There are 27 Telangana Tribal Welfare Residential Institutions (Gurukulams) functioning in Bhadradri Kothagudem & Khammam Districts under the jurisdiction of Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam under the management of TTWREI SOCIETY (GURUKULAM).

               Gurukulam Institutions : Mini Gurukulam- 01, Ekalavya Model Tribal Welfare Schools-08 (EMRS), Junior Colleges-02, Upgraded Junior Colleges-11, SOE -01, Degree Colleges-04 (Dammapeta, Kothagudem, Manuguru and Khammam) – Totally 27 schools are functioning in Bhadradri Kothagudem & Khammam districts.

               Strength Particulars : In the above TW Gurukulam institutions in EMRS- 1612, Junior Colleges-628, URJCs – 7595, SOE- 421, Degree Colleges-2168  and Mini Gurukulam-150, Totally- 12574 students were enrolled as on November’2021-22.

 v Development Programs for Students: 

  • The students of our region are not only taught academic subjects but also trained in other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • The students of our region are able to compete with the students of corporate colleges in all the aspects like, IIT, JEE, NEET EAMCET etc.
  • On par with the corporate educational institutions, our students are being given coaching for JEE, NEET, EAMCET, CUET, etc.
  • Our beloved Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam introduced a new era into these institutions. For this, 4 centers have been identified across erstwhile Khammam District. They are SOE Khammam, COE, Dhammapeta, SOE Kinnerasani and Bhadrachalam for Girls and boys.
  • Every year the meritorious students are selected by conducting a preliminary test and they will be given free coaching with experts at the above said four institutions for JEE, NEET and EAMCET, etc exams.
  • Our beloved Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam sanctioned Rs.10.00 lakhs for the previous academic year to 10 TTWURJCs of our region to purchase the required books and study material for these entrance examination. In this way our students are encouraged to join premier institutions after their intermediate for their higher education.
  • The students studying in other Gurukulam Colleges are also given necessary coaching’s for EAMCET, CUET, PECET, DIET CET etc at their respective institutions.
  • Our beloved Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam sanctioned an amount of 3,14,600/- (24,200/- for each College-10 URJCs & 3 COEs) for purchasing invertors.
  • As TTWURJC(Girls), Annapureddypally students were suffering the electricity problem, an amount of Rs.2,73,274/- (Rupees Two Lakhs and Seventy Three Thousand and Two Hundred Seventy Four only) was sanctioned by our Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam for Electricity line of 2 KW to 10 KW (Addl.8KW).
  •     TTWR Degree College (Women), Dammapeta @Khammam has been shifted to AHS, Peddavagu Project, Aswaraopeta Mandal. The Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam has sanctioned immediately an amount of Rs.5.00 Lakhs for transportation charges and all necessary repair works at the college
  • The Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam sanctioned an amount Rs.1,50,000/- for Mission Bhagheeratha Water Supply works at TTWRJC(G), Ankampalem.
  • An amount of Rs.43,011/- was sanctioned to COE Bhadrachalam by our Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam for purchasing a Xerox machine to print the practice question papers required for the EAMCET/JEE/NEET entrance coaching. An amount of Rs.25,000/- was sanctioned to TTWRJC(B), Krishnasagar to buy a printer.  ·         The Project Officer, ITDA, Bhadrachalam sanctioned an amount of Rs.30,000/- to TTWRDC (W), Khammam for water supply through water tank every day due to the water scarcity at their institution. ·         Recently EMRS, Palvancha has been shifted to its own building at Ramavaram as the construction work completed.
  • Tribal Welfare Gurukulam Student Toppers :-

Academic Year 2021-22:

Our Gurukulam students excelled in the IPE results on par with the corporate colleges. The details of the ranks achieved by our students are:

  1. Bhavana Sree(II MPC),RJC(G), Ankampalem-984/1000 – Secured 1st Rank in Gurukulam.
  2. Pavani(II HEC),URJC(G), Sudimalla- 891/1000- Secured 1st Rank in Gurukulam.
  3. Kavya Sree(II HEC),URJC(G), Sudimalla – 849/1000- Secured 2nd t Rank in Gurukulam.
  4. Tamalini (I HEC), COE, Bhadrachalam–482/500- Secured 1st Rank in Gurukulam. 

To bring out the talent of our students the programs like “Earn While You Learn” and Super Students are conducted every year. The selected students will be sent to T- SAT, ManaTV programs for presenting their topics. 

  • Out Students K.Kusumanjali(II BIPC), TTWR COE(G), Bhadrachalam and B.Sai (10th) Class, TTWURJC(B), Gundala participated in T-SAT Nipuna program and received a cash prized from the Secretary, TTWREIS, Hyderabad.
  • Higher Education: Out students got seats in various central University across the country 11 students of our COEs and SOE got admission IITs and 10 students got in NITs. 2 Girl students of SOE, Bhadrachalam got in ISER Institute Madya Pradesh in dual Degree BSc & MSc.
  • Sports: During the year 2021-22, 4 students of TTWRDC(M), Manuguru achieved 7 gold medals in International Athletics held at Goa. E.Swathi(III BCom), TTWRDC(W),Kothagudem achieved silver medal in curling competition held at Srinagar.
  • Panacea health command centre is established in Head Office, Hyderabad to monitor the health issues of our student.

The PETC is working under the control of PO, ITDA / Deputy Director (TW) Bhadrachalam. The Deputy Director (TW) Bhadrachalam is the Ex-officio Principal to the PETC. At present, the ACMO, PMRC (Edn.) is acting as FAC Principal to PETC.

PROJECT MONITORING AND RESOURCE CELL (EDUCATION)

The Project Monitoring and Resource Cell (Education) is established in the year 1998 with a view to support the educational activities in the TW management schools. The prime objective of PMRC is conduct of regular monitoring of TW management schools, support to teachers, conduct of planning for educational improvement and training to teachers, data collection and report submission to the authorities for planning of educational activities time to time.

  1. Distribution of Sadhana Work Books (for Class 6th to 9th class Students):

            Instructions of the Project Officer, ITDA Bhadrachalam, a workbook named “Sadhana” was created with a (100) day plan to develop reading, writing and quadruple processes for students. This book was distributed to 6,000 students of Class 6th to 9th class students studying in TW Institutions and Gurukulams of Bhadradri Kothagudem and Khammam District.
