INSTITUTIONS & ENROLLMENT OF STUDENTS 2023-24:
There are (50) Govt. TW Ashram Schools, (14) Govt. TW Hostels, (219) Govt. Primary Schools (T.W), (22) PMH Hostels totally 305 Tribal Welfare Educational Institutions are functioning under the control of Deputy Director (TW) Bhadrachalam. (03) Assistant Tribal Development Officers 1.Bhadrachalam, 2.Dammapeta and 3.Yellandu are assists for close monitoring and smooth function of the TW Institutions of Bhadradri Kothagudem District.

INSENTIVES TO TRIBAL STUDENTS :
MENU : The prescribed Menu is providing to the boarders of Govt. TW Ashram Schools, Hostels and PMHs @ Rs.950/- per month per boarder from 3rd to 7th class and Rs.1150/- per month per boarder from 8th to 10th class and Rs. 1500/- per month per boarder to PMH Hostels. As per Menu every day morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, night dinner and evening snacks are being provided to the students.
COSMETIC CHARGES : The Cosmetic charges for Rs.50/- per month per boarder, Rs.12/- hair cutting charges from 3rd to 7th class, Rs.75/- from 8th to 10th class and Rs.15/- per month per boarder to Sanitary Napkins have been providing to the boarders of TW Ashram School and Hostels.
AMENITIES: The required Note books, Bed Sheets, Carpets, Shoes, Slippers, School Bags, Shoes, Night Dresses, Slippers, T-Shirt and Shorts have been supplied to the Ashram Schools and Hostels. Regarding the GPS (TW) Note Books, School Bags, Shoes, T-Shirt and Shorts, Slippers are provided to the students for the year 2023-24.
PRE METRIC (BEST AVAILABLE SCHOOLS) :
The Tribal Welfare Department has sponsoring the Tribal students under Best Available Schools Scheme in the following Private Institutions of Bhadradri Kothagudem Dist.
- Little Flowers High School, Bhadrachalam
- Sarswathi Sesu Mandhir, Bhadrachalam.
During the year 2022-23 there are (100) seats have been allotted. Out of this, (50) seats are allotted for 3rd class, 25 seats for 5th class and 25 seats are allotted for 8th class. The seats have been allotted by way of lucky dip. The free food and accommodation have been provided to the tribal children.
SPORTS SCHOOL : There are (2) Govt. Tribal Welfare Model Sports Schools are functioning in Bhadradri Kothagudem Dist. (1) AHS Kinnerasani, Palvoncha Mandal (2) AGHS Kachanapally, Gundala Mandal. The free Education, food and accommodation and required sports material have been supplied to the schools.
POST METRIC SCHOLARSHIPS : The Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.90 (SW Edn.2) Dept. Dt. 30.07.2002 and given detailed guidelines for post metric scholar ships. The scheme applies to all universities & its affiliated colleges whose admission process is regulated / administered by the State Government. All eligible students (SC / ST/ BC / EBC / Minority / PHC) whose family income is less than Rs.2.50 Lakhs per annum shall be covered under the PMS scheme. Eligible student shall apply online on the e-Pass website with all relevant particulars such as income certificate, caste certificate, Photograph, Copy of the first page of the savings bank account for remittance of the MTF, marks of the qualifying examinations such as SSC, Intermediate etc as the case may be, copy of the ration card/ election photo identity card or any other proof of identity as may be required by the welfare officers concerned. AMBEDKAR OVERSEAS VIDYA NIDHI : The Government has issued G.O.Ms.No.36 (TW Edn. II) Dept., Dt.04.06.2013 and given detailed guidelines for Ambedkar Overseas Vidhya Nidhi. The scheme has been implementing for tribal students who got admission for Higher Education at other countries i.e., USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Singapore. An amount of Rs.20.00 lakhs has been paid to each student in two installments.
LAW GRADUATION: The Government has imparted a scheme called as “Training to Law Graduate in Administration of Justice”. Under this scheme (6) ST Law Graduates have been selected and allotted to Law apprentice of various courts for giving training to Law Graduates. An amount of Rs. 1000/- per month stipend and Rs. 6000/- per annum to sanctioned as one time for purchasing of books and furniture.
GOVT. TW VIKASAM SPECIAL SCHOOL : The Govt. Tribal Welfare Vikasam Special School has been established at Bhadrachalam for specially disabled tribal students. The required equipments and special teachers have been provided to this School. At present, there are 40 students are admitted in the Institution.
College of Teacher Education (Tribal Welfare) B.Ed., College Bhadrachalam : Due to providing quality education to the Tribal Children and appointment of Teacher Post in Schedule Area, the College of Teacher Education have been established during the year 1999-2000 in entire South India especially Tribal candidates. In first year there are 100 students are admitted. The Admissions are only taken basing on the merit of the Degree / Equal exam marks without conducting any Entrance Test. As on 22 batches are completed the teacher education.
College of Teacher Education (Tribal Welfare) D.Ed., College Bhadrachalam : Due to providing quality education to the Tribal Children and appointment of Teacher Post in Schedule Area, the D.Ed., College have been established during the year 2012. In first year there are 50 students are admitted. The Admissions are only taken basing on the merit of the Inter / Equal exam marks without conducting any Entrance Test. As on (5) batches are completed the teacher education.
PETC Training : The Pre Examination Training Center is functioning at ITDA Bhadrachalam for providing free coaching to the ST candidates for appearing various competitive exams. During the year 2022 the camp has been successfully completed for SI / Police Conistable exam and (141/86) candidates have qualified in Preliminary exams of Sub Inspector of Police. (309/135) candidates have qualified in Preliminary exams of Police constables. The ground coaching is provided for Physical efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Measurement Test (PMT).
